SFV Breastfeeding Challenge 2009

On October 3, 2009 the BFTFGLA sponsored the third annual San Fernando Valley Breastfeeding Challenge at Lake Balboa in Encino. The SFV Breastfeeding Challenge is part of the annual Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge, organized by Canada's Quintessence Foundation (www.babyfriendly.ca). The Challenge is a friendly competition between countries, regions, and states to have the most children breastfeeding at 11:00am local time. The 2009 SFV Breastfeeding Challenge was a huge success with a total estimated attendance of over 130 mothers, fathers, children and breastfeeding supporters.
