HD First Virgin Atlantic Airways Airbus A330-300 flight, Manchester to Orlando 2nd April 2011 Part 1

The very first passenger service with the Airbus A330 for Virgin Atlantic Airways, VS. Can be seen departing Manchester International Airport Ringway, the video shows the aircraft on push back from the stands at terminal two. The Vido then follows the aircraft to the runway, where she takes off and then banks right.

This is the first Virgin Atlantic Airways, VS passenger flight with the Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the aircraft has been in testing over the last couple of weeks. However April 2nd 2011 saw the first paying customer travel to Orlando International Airport in Flordia, FL USA on Virgin flight VS075.

The Airbus A330 aircraft will operate the leasuire routes for Virgin Atlantic out of Manchester International Airport and London Gatwick Airport. (MAN and LGW). This aircrafts has two different cabinets, but does not have an upper class only premium enonomey or just normal enomey.

The Aircraft is an Airbus A330-300 series airccraft and is G-VSXY, I do believe sh is the first Virgin Atlantic A330 the airline has as part of the 10 new aircraft order. Three of these aircraft are to be leased to China Airlines, 5 Aircraft are due in 2011, with another 5 in 2012. I think the reason for this is beacuse of the delay in the Boeing 787-900 series aircraft delay, therefore Virgin Atlantic will be able to carry on its growth without delays from the Boeing 787.

It is mostly 747's from manchester and the a-330's fly from gatwick and heathrow most of the time

@westyrules12 haha what makes you say this? The 330's cover half the work load at Manchester operating one of two two flight they operate each day at Manchester. As regards to Heathrow the 330 has never operated from this airport, bearing in mind they not do the lesuire route from LHR. :D

@holyshizzleitsconnor Hey, Its VS075. The A330 operates the Daily Manchester-Orlando Flight from 11:00 at Manchester, which is due to land at Orlando at 15:10 :) Hope this helps :D

I believe that Virgin only offers the 747 service to Orlando now. I can see every single plane that comes into Orlando from my house and I have never seen an A330 from Virgin. The only Airlines that offer A330 service TO-FROM orlando are Lufthansa and Aer Lingus to Frankfurt and Dublin resoectively

Think it's disgusting that Virgin's flight from Manchester arrives in Orlando BEFORE the first flight from Gatwick. Why cant they schedule the Manchester flight to arrive at MCO in between the two LGW departures? I leave LGW on the daily 11.30 flight, and by the time I arrive at around 15.25 local time, I have an airport full of Manc Virgins that are still hanging around Baggage Claim in their City shirts and Hajibs. I wish Sir Richard Branson gave all this a bit more thought.
