  • some questions.

    The cooler, normal box ?

There was an increase in temperature, how much?

    tks

  • So is this like fully fully fully stable and can run for about 3+ years without any problems????

  • Would it be safe to overclock it if I've unlocked all six cores?

  • If anyone is still watching this video, NEVER go over 1.512v if you aren't very experienced, Its way to risky. In many peoples opinion the safest Voltage for any given OC would be a max of around 1.45 to 1.495.

  • Add a frequancy from 200 to 220 its about 200 mhz more per core then u dont have to put so much voltage to cores

  • U put way too much voltage to get 3.8 Ghz.

  • Are you serious? lol, your idle temps do not matter, run orthos/prime 95 or some sort of stress test at the exact same settings you have now and demonstrate exactly how good your overclocking guide is lol You have missed out a huge amount of very important advice nessesary to overclock a cpu safely. Bumping ur volts to 1.55 straight away is a uneducated, dumbass thing to do, learn overclocking elswhere.... not some guy on youtube that knows how to move sliders

  • @TheBloberts dont use autotune to overclock, get AMD overdrive and download prime 95. Overdrive will let you change voltages,so increase multiplier to 3.8 ghz or so, bump up the voltage to around 1.4125 or a little higher depending on c2 or c3 or whatever, and test for stability with prime 95. if you bluescreen, try upping the voltages, but if the voltage for that speed is over 1.4250, then its not worth it, so just look for the sweet spot.

  • @yungsuh2 well what im asking is after running auto-tune in the catalyst should the voltage be automatically put at the appropriate level for 3.8? All its giving me for "manual" control is a slider for the GHz themselves

  • @TheBloberts

my c3 hits 4 ghz easy on 1.475, for 3.8 that voltage is WAY too high.

  • I just overclocked my CPU using the catalyst engine control center after running auto-tune. Not sure if it changed the voltage to the 1.55. should it have done it suto matically by just moving the clock slider to 3800?

  • @RubekwanTeHchef Use Asus Mother Board. OC software for asus.
