@Suzannahartist That is true 100% the police try to stay in safe areas being bullys, harassing people that are poor trying to make a honest living, while ignoring hard core criminals in dangerous areas like Brownsville, Harlem, East New York, South Bronx.

@gmcbuses It is awful especially with unemployment higher than what is being reported and too many people working are not earning a living wage. It is terrible the mayor and rich people with influence pressure the NYPD to ticket New Yorkers up to their eyeballs unless of course they are rich. The Mercer Hotel has a no parking loading and unloading area & empty cars sitting for way too long do not get tickets, NYPD passes by Mercer violations to ticket Veterans over 2 inches.

theairsoftplus commentor -- click on his channel -- he has a machine GUN guy military style YouTube featured and one subscriber only -- I clicked on the one subscriber and the YouTube featured on the channel is what appears to be a underage young man holding a gun talking about the gun. In my original blog posting I asked for a metal detector as well as a drug sniffing dog. Looks like a metal detector would be a good idea. Of course I blocked both accounts.

This hotel has every right to tell these vendors not to sell on THERE property.I'm sure there are plenty of other places they could have sold there products. They were within there legal rights.Plus why should the police send a drug sniffing dog with no suspision. All I can say is your a BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL who doesn't understand the LAWS of our country.

@theairsoftplus Actually the Veterans have every right to be there and I was a witness to tickets that were wrong and I believe will be thrown out in court. As for suspicious behavior again I disagree with you and I think there is plenty including the parking. Wasn't the actress from Spider Man robbed at that hotel and there was a quite a bit of pot in her assistance's pocket book but I do not think the NYPD gave her a ticket. I get it the rich are above suspicion and the law.

Venders should not be harassed. Law should be changed to make it easier to get a vendors licence. The number of vendors licences should be tripled so everyone that wants to get one can. Even if you are not a veteran. The law should just be you buy one for 700 dollars, you can not be in 200 feet of a store selling the same thing. someone selling food has to be 200 feet away from a restaurant, or deli. 4 allowed on each block. Do away with the color coded licence system. All licences city wide.

@gmcbuses Yes the laws needs to be changed. Although not reported unemployment is higher and will be even more so. People want honest ways to make a living and too many employed are not making a real living wage. It is now cheaper and easier to sell and buy HEROIN than cigarettes. It is like Bloomberg wants to force poor and middle class people out or push them in to drug dealing. Insane. Vending is honest and honorable & Mike has made it criminal. The mgr for Mercer uses NYPD like puppets
