Stereotypes about Japan and US

tell me in either a video response or a comment the stereotypes about Japan. Vice versa, tell me what you've heard about America, or your own country, from the Japanese (obviously not everyone is American... I just am, so I mentioned it.)

Some of your comments I can answer easily just by responding. Others like, vending machines and skinny legs, I'll have to roam the town for you.

o i have one i heard all japanese hate outsiders like if you go to japan in some parts youll get dirty looks you will get cursed out in japanese if they see your a foreigner you mite get jumped LOL

@TheoriginalMjj90 not true. I'm an outsider, some of my friends are too. We live in the country, where people are actually NICER than those in Tokyo. My bf makes matcha with the nicest, elderly lady ever. Like a second grandma she spoils him rotten. The owner of a cram school I went to, another older lady, is letting me rent her 3 room apartment for $350 cheaper and fed me lunch at times. Plus I have so many wonderful Japanese friends of all ages.

@TheoriginalMjj90 not true. It depends on the person, not everyone in the world is free of racism, same goes in Japan. It's true, Japan may be a more conservative and xenophobic country than others, but it doesn't mean all of them hate blacks and other ethnicities. The same people who hate blacks in Japan probably hate whites/Koreans/Chinese/Souther­n American too.

One of my friends has a Japanese step mother, and she said to my friend: "you, are, cowboy" I do seem to recall Americans being portrayed as "wild west" people... ;D lol

I am sorry you had to go through that.  There is truth in most stereotypes and can fit multiple nationalities, races, both genders, etc. However, to judge one based upon a stereotype is quite moronic.
