@FiggyMoonpowder I personally prefer french, but that may be my analytic mind reasoning that French would, hypothetically thinking, be Duchesse's and the kittens' native tongue. Plus, Marie sounds more formally trained in French than the other's I've heard, though Icelandic Marie is adorable. :)

@1212tmc My dad won't let me learn Italian properly unless I learn the Sicillian dialect. Dang their stupid anti-nationalism.
So I'm being forced to learn it in secret on my computer. (because good luck finding a Sicillian tutor. And believe me, I've looked.) So it'll be a while before I'm able to pronounce Italian without learning the words/phrases individually, but thank you very much for these lyrics. Wish me luck :)

@polyxenophile these are the lyrics: Se buon musicista tu vuoi diventar Tante scale e tante arpeggi devi far Prendi fiato ed ogni nota limpida sarà Se dal petto e non dal naso ti uscirà Se le scale tutti i giorni canterai Quanti rapidi progressi tu farai Do mi sol mi do mi sol mi qualche arpeggio fai E ben presto musicista diverrai Anche se al principio un po' ti annoierà Prima o poi vedrai che ti divertirà E' il segreto del successo e ora che lo sai Scale e arpeggi tu farai e rifarai

The song is called SCALE E ARPEGGI, not "scale e apeggio" lol

I am not Italian and I do not understand it, but this sounded very good :D

@polyxenophile I think that you can't hear the world because it has different pronunciation in Italian, but they said that word during the song...at 1.23 he says "qualche arpeggio fai" and also at 2.04 they say "scale e arpeggi tu farai..."

OK. If this is a stupid question, I'm sorry in advance. My dad comes from an Italian background, but the only words I know are andiamo, vieni qua, and sta zitta. (As those are all I heard as a kid)
But I was under the impression that musical terms are also Italian. So why can I not hear anything that sounds like arpeggio? Am I hearing wrong, or am I wrong about the origin of the word, or what?
Thanks in advance for any answer I may recieve.
PS this is my favourite Disney song in any language
'Worser' isn't a word.
Try 'worse'.
