Is this a way to start an album or what? Awesome opening track with brazilian percussion and keyboard wizardy.

A track from the The Story Of I album by Patrick Moraz. It's probably his most famous album but oddly no songs were uploaded on Youtube yet.

I uploaded a couple of songs I really enjoyed. To be honest there were many that weren't so special. I hope you enjoy this one!

  • Can you believe that tossed him out on his ass? And now where are they? Embrace the future, I even heard some horror elements in there...very interesting, esp for a 1994 album.

  • @MrJohnETaylor made me smile how many ppl had a similar experience to this.

i bought 2 copies of this at the time as i knew i would play one to death, and still do lol

  • I have this album in pristine condition. It was decades before it's time. Try popping on the headphones. It blew me away in my twenties and still does. Did he ever perform this live?

  • @MrJohnETaylor .... just the way I'm listening to it now John.

We seem to have had a similar experience!

  • 'Na "bestiata" stra-coinvolgente!! CHE SPLENDORE!! Grande SuperPatrick!! B-)

  • I bought this album when it first came out and I was in my twenties ... I'm in my fifties now and it is still unbelievable! It sent me onto another planet then .. and it still does now. It is an iconic and epic sound. It must be played very loud and listened to with alcohol.

  • Soooo happy to hear this again. I realise now what incredible taste and what a bitching LP collection I had as a teen. As it happens, almost forty years later, I appreciate this stuff even more. I better understand now why my tastes have evolved to where they are. I must find this on CD/

  • Großartig!!!

  • @funqsta I wasn't aware of Jeff Berlin's presence on the record. ??

  • let's see… on top pf the Brazilian percussion were layered (beyond Patrick's awesome synths), Jeff Berlin, Alphonze Mouzon and Ray Gomez - but where's the rest of the track?
