  • he preaches in the best place on earth (seattle) :)

  • @thelaw986 sigh. so you're not going to consider it then?

  • This man is an egoist.

  • @wilhelm362436 And no, God did not put fear into you. After you began to believe in the existence of a creator, your mind began to believe that bad things will happen to you if you continue to be who you were.

You would have changed in the same way if a large jail guard were to beat you over the head every time you had negative and arrogant thoughts. It's called "conditioning". Truth.

  • @wilhelm362436 I don't see anything wrong with you (or anyone) bring arrogant, cocky, shallow, or laugh at others. There is NOTHING wrong with that. You should be proud of who you are. How to express yourself is your own business. Now, we all know "what comes around goes around", and so your actions "could" potentially bring negative feedback from those around you. But hey, I'm sure you know that already. People will retaliate, God (who doesn't exist) will not.

  • @thelaw986 we don't? funny. i do. even more amazing, i've received responses. Jesus Christ is real whether you choose to acknowledge Him or not. A God can't do what? Be God. That doesn't make much sense either. I, having no real sound ethics of my own (I'm being honest) am shallow and would just get over my mistakes, laugh at people's stupidity, and be cocky and arrogant, because, quite frankly THAT'S WHO I AM. God, by His grace, put a fear in me that's putting an end to that.

  • @thelaw986 they are? do me a favor ( for arguments sake don't be a tool and lie about it either because that's just cheap and negates things) and keep tabs on ALL of your thoughts for a week. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. then, let me know how often you think (even though you won't act on it) about sex with someone other than a spouse, how often you call someone an idiot, stupid, et all, how often you consider lying even if you don't do it, overindulge in anything..food drink..games...

  • @chaseren11 Yeah you're right, I take that back, I'm not sure about that one actually. What I am sure about it that you are ignorant enough to know the truth but instead run from it. And if you're not an atheist then what are you?

  • @wilhelm362436 Also, no one is without "sin" because everyone makes mistakes; but guess what, we make amends for these things by paying dues to those who we wrong; we do not say "sorry" to a God. A God cannot forgive you for doing wrong to someone. We make amends to other people.

  • @wilhelm362436 Most people in this world are moral! (WOW!) They do not kill others or wish others harm. Why else would people want to create countries and government and societies? These units are created and based on moral codes which human HAVE! No God needed (Thomas Jefferson + other American founding fathers agree too).
