@redkulaT I think that this one does have a great sound and is louder than you would think. If you have the ability to i would go to a best buy and look at it, but it does have a good price.

@VTBurtonrider22 Would you recommend this over the Bose Portable then? I'm debating between the two. Then again I am on a budget and if this system produces good sound then I'm fine with that.

I noticed when you plug it into the dock, it raises the volume of the iPod. What if you had the volume on max + plugged in through the AUX port...would the sound be louder since it's not controlling the iPod's sound and would be raising the system's volume?

@Smoove213 I tried the Bose sounddock that is $399 next to this logitech and the bose is a little louder and clearer but the logitech is a lot better for price.
