This video is a follow-up to my first video. During the next week, I will be posting my progress or lack of progress while undergoing accupuncture treatments for my condition. As I post this video, it's been 5 days since my first treatment; also my Prednisone is out (as of tomorrow), and my welts are definately returning. Not giving up hope by any means, however, it looks like it may be a tough week ahead.

  • I´m suffering from MASSIVE urticaria and angioedema since 6 years, tried out everything from accupuncture, TCM to colon cleansing and different diets, got two teeth pulled and so on, nothing worked. 4 months ago I had to deal with immense emotional stress as my Dad was disgnosed with cancer and it suddeny completly stopped. Now that my Pa had a surgery and is on his way to recover it came back as worst as before. Adrenaline?? I just don´t get it. My Docs have no clue either.

  • @T97Frida Thank you for your reply. I feel for you situation. I'm about to undergo a new serious of test and trials under a new doctor. I have appointments coming up in May, 2011, and will hopefully have some new information to post in the next couple of months. I know it's difficult...please stay positive :)

  • I have suffered from it for nearly twenty years. It comes and goes. I think I have it somewhere on my body most days though. I may have just got used to it. The best medication I have found that helps me is Zyrtec (Citerzine). It doesn't make me as drowsy as most antihistamines and it doesn't have the long term effects of steroids. It's not 100% but I it will help. I have been on the Paleo diet for 35 days so I've cut a lot of suspicious foods out. I've still got it. I feel your pain.

  • Thanks for your videos. I have pressure urticaria (immediate pressure urticaria ) especially in spring, summer and autumn. Yesterday it started again.. My hands, feet, trunk, back, legs and face are suffering. What the hell causes that? I take antihistamines but they don't "work" for me.

  • have been told by 2 doctors that stress is definitely a major factor.... and i did notice personally, the condition started at a time when i experienced a chain of some of the most stressful times in my life, which just so happenend to drag on for the last 3 years in various forms, along with this annoying condition..... i feel like im stuck in a vicious cycle..

  • I just started suffering from this in Sept 2010 (though I didn't know what it was), I'm 56 yrs old. Thanks for the videos and info.

  • Don´t know if it happens with you guys but such symptoms are bothering me, in my personal and professional life. Today I am taking a capsule of loratadine 100mg to control, but it is not working as expected. I wish you luck in your research. If I have any positive results by here I'll share with you. Congratulations for your initiative and courage in bringing light to this issue!!!

  • Hey grizzlemeat...I´m from Brazil and would like to share my experience with you!!!At about 3 years ago I lived a lot of stress moments where I used to work. Since there I realized that I´ve started with a lot of itching in the body and some parts where I was pressing swelled and turned red. Also noticed that after walking my feet and legs swelled up and I felt very tired and sore body. Any place of my body which is pressed becomes swollen and it seems that there is also a kind of fever there

  • @theredtentwoman

Try ganoderma lucidim or red reishi mushroom tea or supplements and take alot of it about 1800 a day, I have had dpu for five years now and I found something that works and its minimal side effects if any at all. make sure the stuff is organic and of high quality. peace and good luck.

  • thank you so much for being so open about your condition. Urticaria is doing my head in. I am not sure if it is DPS although when I harried my shopping bags on my arms, I ended up with itchy welts afterwards. However, it doesn't take pressure to bring them on. Thanks so much for being so open. xxx
