How do you import things from 3D Studio Max to After Effects?

The easiest way to do it is to render the 3D studio project as a series of pics in a file and then import the pic series into AE. If you need alpha, export as a PNG and make sure you have alpha channels selected in the pic setup. If you don't need alpha, jpeg without alpha for solid renders. Import the pic series into after effects, and there you go.

@TakronRust Or, if you don't like wasting time, render the video as a video and import the video into the video editing program. no need to deal with pictures.

@mrikenna no buddy there is no any tutorial as far as i know....
unfortunately i have lost this project file so that i could send you but i got alot of better ideas to do this kinda thinks....

Does 3D Studio Max file itself can be imported on adobe after effects? Do I have to use a plug-ins for importing 3DsMax file to After effects? Where can I have and how to import 3D Studio Max file to after effects

no 3ds max dont give to the facility to import how project inside AE...
For that you should take help of 3rd party plugins...
you could use max to ae plugin for importing data to max in ae.
