I dont have a fancy camera so I used a little ingenuity getting this footage...I scouted this owls nest and then set up the camera there..when It flew away I watched and after setting up the camera..I moved around behind It and it flew back to the nest..I was all giddy after seeing the gerat footage I got...LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF IT PLEASE

  • Great video m8!

  • @owlninja993 they all look the same? How many Uncles you got digger?

  • Digger "Hey! That owl looks kinda like my uncle!" (^v^)

  • Love it! Thanks for the cool vid!

  • This is a great footage, but You are not supposed to film that close to the nest, it can scare the birds away and they will not breed or they can leave their offspring to die. You should really consider that next time.

  • sooooo adorible!!

  • Good job.

Is there any footage of these owls actually burrowing or climbing in and out of the ground?

  • It came, it looked, it left... Slow motion style B-)

  • Wow, look at those fast head turns! Must be on the lookout. He/she is seriously cool. The fly-in and landing at the beginning was as well; nice positioning of the camera ^^

I think there are owls by my house, according to my mom one flew by her one night. I've never seen an owl before, or a bat, or a raccoon. Actually I've seen a bat; he was hanging on the side of a building, asleep. He was a cute little guy but I hope no one picked him up. It was the awesomest ever to see a bat finally!

  • really, and how it flew away, it probably saw a chance to prey on something. Great footage.
