to who it concerns this video is not jkd nor jkd concepts look at the 4 principles ,ecomony off motion so why would the guy at the beging off this video return with a hook a wide angle not the fastest path to the target if you look at this this is not jkd principles not to offend but these guys are also telgraphing his intention ,not a relaxed mind or focused my opinion this isnt the essence off jkd

i dont see jkd in this, no approaches, no scenarios ,no "aliveness"

jkd has a program? being a better martial artist? what about expressing oneself in combat? no " individual aliveness " i humbly must say.. jkd shouldnt be locked into a library or collection of thoughts on what others think' rather an exchange of what they knowingly can express , effectively economically and efficiently.

One cannot construct a paradigm for combat, Sijo Lee said himself that combat is never the same twice it is always changing if there was such a set way or prevalent combination then a paradigm could be set but there ain't. The only thing that can be set is ones attitude and that comes from within not from without and that's a paradox.
