  • press eight and two for have urine

  • If you press 2 rapidly it sounds like he is saying urine, and if you press 4 it sounds like he says something African.

  • I like my dual band walkie, I don't use the VOX on it though. Handy to have when out and about and you don't want to drill holes or slap a big ol antenna on a nice new car. thanks

  • it depends on weather you use a repeater or not, and the repeaters coverage area. repeater generally 25 to 50 miles, maybe greater. Simplex on an HT, about 2 miles or so. Range is also a factor in terms of the antenna your using.

  • @bben95 because at the begining he says, congratulations... you've passed your test.

  • @Pugragger why do you assume the people watching this has passed the exam? Maybe they're just interested in becoming a ham and know barely anything about it.

  • Is your dual bander a CT 79? Looks like a nice rig!

  • @outatime1955 They dont know the difference i guess.....

Not suprisingly most ordinary people think CB and Ham are the same. I hear "oh my dad used to talk on his ham back in the 1970s to the truckers." Or "i didnt know people still used ham." and the really good one "I thought they did away with the ham lisense."

  • @CBKillas Damn, ya 30 miles is def. an impressive distance. Thanks for the reply
