Scott Free aka Mr. Miracle performs his latest escape act . However during all this his mentor and friend Oberon is captured by Granny Goodness. She leads one of the many faction leaders on Apokolips in the wake of Darkseid's death/disappearance following his short lived partnership with Brainiac in Twilight.
She contracts his help in freeing Kalibak in exchange for Oberon's freedom. He and his wife Barda, better known as Big Barda, seeks League help, but J'onn turns them out.
Their hands are full, but Flash opts to help them. The trio heads for Apokolips via boom tube. Along the way, Scott/Miracle remembers back to his escape attempts and final escape from this very same place.
He remembers why he enjoys his freedom and why escapes are much more fun...

also Barda's well aimed punch at Granny Goodness just before she enters the boom tube at the end is awesome.
