wow, a posting about how un-clownlike this is... Hmm, maybe it's not "classic tropes of clowning" (Auguste, contra-auguste, and Clown), but really, isn't the spirit of clowning just to wear a mask that allows you to play a role that you wouldn't otherwise play. Whether as straight up whiteface clown, an anarchist Auguste, or a middle-man contra-auguste; it's all meant to have fun!
