The Law against domestic violence was passed by the National Assembly in 2005. It is being used to resolve family matters. But the law also relies on the penal code when matters become too serious. This is a sequence extracted from the Equity Weekly TV show # 57, broadcasted on the 21st September 2008, produced by UNDP and TVK, with support from SIDA, AusAid, Canadian International Development Agency and Irish Aid as part of the SDEP (Strengthening Democracy and Electoral Processes in Cambodia) project of UNDP CAMBODIA.
