every time i watch a tutorial i end up learning something cool. i appreciate u putting this up :D i had no idea there was a background erase tool and ive been using photoshop for more than 2 years. btw if u wanna try something new instead of making the flames bigger to to filter>distort>ripple and set it to 50. really cool effect give it a try sometime

it's open source and you have to buy photoshop
but gimp is free in more ways than 1, anyone can modify, redistribute, and redistribute the modifications
not to mention it's cross-platform

along with photoshop
it can be free
And you can import custom stuff just like GIMP, but to me, they are the same basically, but photoshop looks prettier and has a few more options that i rarely use :D
