This is a kit built ex LMS Beyer Garratt 2-6-6-2 in British Railways livery on a coal train. it runs very well and will take sharp curves in its stride but could have probably used another motor in the other end of the loco although it had no trouble with the load you see here.
Very impressive layout and model. Is the BG the old K's ' Keyser Kit which was produced in, er, about 1965!?

@JimTLonW6 Yes it is (was) bought it off Ebay many years ago (when Ebay was more interesting than it is now) have since sold it to a friend who has a much bigger layout and give the runs and large consists it deserves !
Thankyou very much for watching

Beautiful model, beautiful layout. No bull intended HollPoll but I admire people like yourself who have the skill and patience to produce this standard of work.
Incidentally, I have a proffesionally built OO guage model of the U1 though I am not a modeller. Theres a clip of it on my channel operating on another amazing layout. Finally theres a big Garrett bash an Manchester's Museum of Science & industry next weekend to commemorate the Hundredth anniversary of Garretts. My model will be there.
