HuluTube vids are flying everywhere. I totally get it but I don't think people realize the power that they have. Screw the networks if their show is not better than yours, which it probably won't be if you look at the low quality of television programming...hell, that why we are here to run away from the TV. Why would I watch processed garbage when I can see what ever the hell I want. The neworks will fail until they embrace us...we always have had and always will have the power.

  • I just feel that they're pushing user based videos out the door and bringing in the mainstream media like that's on Hulu. I guess the idea is to make money, I read that YT is losing like half a billion a year on YT alone, and making nearly $200 Mill. So hopefully this will make up for that loss revenue.

  • Thanks Shango...great way of looking at the situation

  • Damn, I never really thought of it like that. Makes me want to work on my video content a little bit more.

  • YT truly will always be there for the average joe to make their stuff, promote it, and thrive because of it. The more exposure the better. Sure the major conglomorates are going to jump on the internet and YT and put their content on here but there's always something unique about what the users of YT have to offer that the networks simply can't. The internet has blown so many markets wide open and it's created avenues for us that the networks haven't found/taken advantage of which is great!

  • i have my dvr set to record nightline & the tonight show, so the following day i watch nightline & leno's monologue. things are changing, 2 nights ago towards the end of the monologue then annoncer john menez i think is his name (cant stand him) did a 1 minute comedy skit on verizon & at the end said brought to you by screen covered by verizon logo. advertising changing in big ways.

    "you will watch us!"
