I know I am going to get some flack for this, but it looks just like a flare taken aloft on a balloon to me. The dome shape being just so much camera artifact. The "movements" are also consistant with a balloon caught up in a burst of wind.

I would love to think that it is the real thing. Unfortunatly this one falls far short for me.

yes samuel..i'm in tallahassee..i have seen this craft in 2009 again..very near where this video was taken over 5 years ago....it is not fake..no way, no how. and yes I have seen the longest version where he starts of filming in the bed of his pickup trucks and his children see and comment on the "alien" spacecraft too...probably taken off from the youtube police

That' a ridiculous argument theface. The sound of the insects and birds are pretty clear as well. How convenient the cameraman never zooms in on a cicada to prove they are there right? This remains the best UFO footage I've seen and I haven't found a solid argument to explain the shape and way in which this object moves.

minde4000: Don't think you understand why the clarity of the chopper sound makes it more likely to be faked. With a consumer video camera, especially if there is any wind or weather involved, you wouldn't hear a chopper in the distance with the immediate level and clarity it presents here. Given that the remaining audio in the video is not of the same quality, it makes it much easier to believe the chopper sound was entered later, especially considering you never actually see it! How convenient!

theface07 are you kidding me bro. This is a great video. As an audio engineer I could say that chopper sound was definately not added as you said yourself based on clarity and depth.

Back in May 08, I got to see the full length video (more than 30 min long) but now I can't find it. When you see the entire thing it is even more difficult to believe it's a fake. Has anyone else seen the version I'm referring to? I would like to see it again.

Some ufos are probably alien spacecraft but I don't think this video is definite proof of their existence. Maybe if it were 35+ years old but nowadays a video like this can be easily faked.

The high zoom level explains the video blur, or possibly something else. There are some trees in some frames, and later there is some chopper noise, but that's the only reference. As an audio engineer, I'd say the chopper noise was added later. It has much more clarity and depth than the rest of the audio.
