Apparently, pointing out that the US supported and still supports dictators is "hatred"
Other forms of "Hatred" include pointing out that the US secretly supports Mubarak yet openly "calls for change".
Americans also consider pointing out that America has been the arch nemisis of democracy as "Hatred". Favouring client states and American subservient dictators to freely elected representatives from the people, for the people, by the people.
-
I have yet to show hatred, what you deem hatred, i deem truth, and everything i have said comes from credible sources. You don't need to admit anything, history is naked and forthcoming regardless of how you and/or the US want to or tried to manipulate it
I already answered your question. The US can punish democracy all it wants, but the will of the people will shine through, and Gazans will survive, because Gazans and Almighty God will insure and improve Gaza, reagardless of outsiders
-
@Ezzedeen01 I don't mind your open hatred, but could you at least listen? Again....my "history" will be between me and my God. It's private. I will face my death and the only "history" that will matter will be what has been documented by my God.
BUT what I'd really like to know is can you foresee any possible scenario of things improving for Gaza with the ending of the Mubarak regime?
-
And here is the rub. Gaza is still sanctioned by the US, for no other reason except for the fact GAZANS excercised universal suffrage and elected WHO THEY WANTED and WHO THEY DEEMED WAS AcTING IN THEIR BEST INTERESTS.
So don't give me that "woe is me" act. The US would do the same with Egypt were it not so populous, large in area, and influential in the region
The US and you haven't changed a bit, but were you to OPENLY support mubarak, their would be bombs going off in NY and LA
-
They are dependent on smuggled fuel, because the US conditioned $200million in "aid" to Egypt (during Mubarak's regime) on the building of those walls. Because America thought it in its interest to send to the US Army Corps of Engineers to build those walls so that the Gazans are punished for their democratic choice and to starve them for that choice
And as for your unconcern with history,it doesn't surprise me a bit considering all the brutal murderous dictators the US has supported
-
@Ezzedeen01 I watched a video yesterday sobbing as people in Gaza were trying to get fuel, was it last week? I didn't know that the Gazans were dependent on smuggled fuel. Do you think this will ease up with Mubarak out of power? For the record, I am unconcerned with how history will see my "few little gestures". Those are between me and my God. I can only speak for who I am. There should be complete international shame in what is happening to Gaza. This cannot be allowed to continue.

I am Gazan. I will never forget the dictatorship that the US funded and armed in Gaza, and is currently funding and arming in the West Bank and i will never forget the coup d'etat the US tried to instigate against the newly elected Hamas government in Gaza.
History will not be kind the United States of America, and a few little gestures and words will never wipe the slate clean. I am doubtful that Egyptians will forget 30 years of support for a dictator, so ya, too little, too late!
-
@Ezzedeen01 Well, this has been fun. Perhaps we should have tea together sometime.
To the Egyptian people I pray for every blessing for you and your families. May this day mark the beginning of an era of peace and prosperity for you all. In my lifetime I have never been so moved as I have been watching your countrymen reclaim your homeland with their very bodies and souls. I am humbled by their courage and by your victory this day.

Help by not helping. Stop sticking your god-damn nose into every country's business. Fuck off, stay in your own country, worry about your own country, and stay the fuck away from other countries and their business.
And i will tell you something. The continuing duplicitous speech by Obama and the American administration in trying to (publicly) vouch for democracy while secretly backing Mubarak is disgusting. If the US had any balls, they would admit they support Mubarak
-
Interesting, an American admitting his country supports financially, militarily, and diplomatically dictators and tyrants in return for a client state.
Well, you didn't have to admit it, facts and facts, and whether you admit it or not, US support of dictatorships is a FACT
America is the great satan.
