During the beginning of the age of reason, the availability of gnostic texts were preferred reading for moralists, looking for gnostic reason to reject historic Christianity.
The revolutionary Gnostic Americans were constantly under strong conviction from churches in early America that maintain the purity of the Biblical Gospel; handed down by the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Empiricism must be calibrated by Holiness, else the lust passions and desires that corrupt empirical data will corrupt the reality of what "IS" is.
The true application of obeying the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ cleanses the mind and body to produce a separation of lust desires that make the acquisition of data free from personal contamination.

Gnostic's who are ever learning and never able to come to the righteousness of Jesus Christ will inevitability deny the super-natural; seeing only the bias of their own fallen nature. This was the case with most of the "founding fathers" of the American revolution who denied the sufficiency of Jesus Christ and life found in Him

This Gnostic thought has been the reason why the Constitution of the United States has been used, and will continually be used to facilitate a global solidarity that will contribute to the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

As is the typical Gnosticism that inverts the Truth for a lie. The "paradigm shift" against God's Word took place in the establishment of melting pot theology supported by the Constitution. @buymycd I know, but God doesn't need the Constitution to build His Kingdom, and we should revise and reform the Gnosticism out of it. People should be free, with the understanding that "Gnostic Reason" IS coercive Tyranny also... Forcing all to except empiricism also, as the rule and judge of all things. @buymycd Nobody is saying put anyone in prison camps, Just let people be the hypocrites they want to be in there own houses and don't let the depravity seep out into blatant promotion into Society. Then teach them the way of Christ true knowledge that frees them into the liberty of Christ. Who says man has to be free to express his depravity. Where is that written in stone? That that's the law we should obey and that facilitates what is good?

@buymycd Man out of the abundance of the heart speaks and produces fruit. All men are religious, even those who say there not. So they can be tested by what they produce. @FreeTheMasons So you would be just as happy in a prison camp? God's glory is somehow diminished by all this freedom? I agree with your basic idea that people live in invisible chains, but I gotta think living with those chains in a prison camp still sucks compared to living with them in the suburbs. I wish "society" was a good influence on me too, but I don't want to give up responsibility for my own self either.

@buymycd Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2Timothy 3:7 It's not good to be desiring Knowledge that does not Glorify Christ first and foremost. Since Satan uses these false systems of Gnosis(knowledge) to seduce away from the Truth, into self flattery. Even men of great learning are lost in Satan's schemes. We have the Truth to make us happy people in Christ Jesus; and the True Wisdom that is from above is enough for life blessing, joy and happiness.
