Not So Intelligent Design

My 100th video! :-) A couple of interesting discussions pertaining to science. First, is the human brain an intelligently and elegantly designed mission control center *or* the product of a blind evolutionary design process? Dr. Gary Marcus of New York University makes a compelling case for the latter in a recent discussion of his new book KLUGE on WNYC radio. Second, Dr. Kenneth Miller of Brown University details the propaganda and bullying campaign being waged by the advocates of intelligent design, who are attempting to avoid the rigors of science by going directly to government for an intellectual handout.
