For those sign language interpreters who do not fully deliver the message to the Deaf consumers is called Audism. Sign Language interpreters MUST sign everything what they hear. If they can not handle the bad words or the word they do not like to interpret for the Deaf consumers SHOULD NOT be interpreting in the first place. If Sign Language interpreters want to keep their jobs; therefore, they must be neutral and do the job as to what Code of Ethics/Code of Professional Conduct say so.
@stefluvs2sign1 Only if they are sinning.

@stefluvs2sign1 As for the insult, its only an insult if its not true.

@stefluvs2sign1 You clearly do not understand English then. You addressed me and then said "you". That's me, not them. If you want to refer to them then you need to use the third person.

@kalijasin First of all attacking me by name calling is the first sign of ignorance on your part as you obviously do not have anything of merit to say. Second, if you look at my response it is in response to your first reply to my post (hoping you can keep up with that). I was referring to THOSE people you mentioned that would not interpret certain things because of their religion; THEY need to get a new profession. Perhaps you should read things more than once to make sure you understand.

@stefluvs2sign1 You dolt! I'm not an interpreter.

@kalijasin then get a new profession PERIOD! They are not the interpreter's words or thoughts. It is the words and thoughts of your CLIENT. You JOB that you get PAID WELL TO DO is to interpret the message FAITHFULLY and NOT INTERJECT YOUR PERSONAL OPINIONS. By NOT SIGNING OR VOICING what the person intended bc of your religion is interjecting your personal opinion and AGAINST THE CPC. SEEK A NEW PROFESSION.

@fourtwentier They can't say word for word in English what you sign. Transliteration does not work like that. However, they can't change the context either. Changing the context would be distorting the message or lying.

@stefluvs2sign1 some interpreters are christian or muslim or jew. Thus, the reason they dont like interpreting those words.

@yovonne7 they should not be so lazy with the kind of money they make.
