Northern Lights a.k.a. Aurora Borearis in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada on March 20th 2010.
It was really cold night and the temp was -25C (-17F).
I had been photographing each 15 seconds for 40 minutes total 170 shots.
I combined all shots and made a movie at 18 times speed.
Enjoy.
カナダはイエローナイフのオーロラです。
2010年3月20日撮影。
-25℃という厳しい寒さの中15秒に1枚、合計170枚の写真を撮影しました。
その写真を高速のスライドショーにすることで動画を作りました。
これで約18倍速になります。

@jrwemw1999 It would be good for us if we were on another planet, because I'm pretty sure this one is about to blow up. The sky is burning and all we can do is sit around watching videos of it on youtube. We are well and truly fucked.

How did you edit this? Your image transitions are so smooth. Take a look at my 2 videos. I'd like it if I could slow down my video and let the aurora "flow" more.

Just the aurora I took was gently at that time. The day before, the aurora was so active. Yes just like your video.
I couldn't edit it as a movie because the move was so fast. You're so lucky to see such the active aurora!!!

by the way,just witnessed one tonight.too bad dont have the right cam (or dont know how to use it.lol)to capture every second of it

Thanks narsmickey! Congrats to catch one!!! I didn't know you guys can see Northern Lights in SK! Next time you'd better to bring the tripod and DSLR Cam and show me :)
