Receiver Attempts to Defend a Bad Pass BACKBREAKER

This is a perfect example of this games' artificial intelligence displayed. It is a shame that EA's Madden doesn't have this after all these years of creating this game. I threw a horrible pass, (not on purpose) and my receiver tried to help me out by abandoning his route to catch or defend this pass. True AI at it's best. NFL Please take notice of this. Sorry for the poor quality. I did this on the spur of the moment.

i dont believe that they should have the nfl license or whatever, good points made by you, but it looks to me like he was simply going back for the ball, but the thing that i dont get is.... if he was supposed to run all the way and get the ball close to the side line like you said, why did the quarterback throw the ball so far behind the receiver in the first place??? its not like the qb in that situation was under so much pressure... just something to think about

Just seems like he's going back for the ball to me. But I love that fact that animations don't take control.

It's sad what we been subjected to, that when a WR try to catch the ball and we think it's a big deal, this is what should happen, he should go where the ball is, im not insulting you just when you only have one football game for half a decade we all just seem to lower our standards.

Pretty good...I had a similar occurence in a game of mine...only the WR cut back to catch the bad pass I threw. Good vid...a rare find...keep it up
