At Nationwide Children's Hospital, we're focused on family centered care. That's why our surgical induction rooms allow you to remain with your child while they receive anesthesia. In this video, you can learn all about the induction room and what to expect.

  • that would be scummy if the parent didn't go in and be with their child before or after the surgery .

  • They sure didn't have this area when I was a patient at NCH 22 years ago.

  • The one time I got a general anesthetic, the last thing I remembered was the pre-op shot. I whimpered a bit but it didn't really hurt. The next thing I knew it was 2:30 in the morning the day after my operation. I was feeling good the next morning, but Mom told me later that I was very wobbly.

  • one sugestion in other hospital pre operation whe play video games to relax

and the room are more funny
