This is a short preview of a half-hour television documentary about the Liberty Ships built in coastal Georgia during WWII. Two shipyeards--one in Brunswick and one in Savannah--together cranked out just under 200 of the freighters, averaging a ship a week per yard!
The program features interviews with shipyard workers and others whose lives were intertwined with the ships.
