What's a haboob? It's a specific type of desert storm associated with a wall of dust that impacts a variety of areas worldwide, including the metropolitan Phoenix area which was hit bey a wall of dust wall more than a mile high and some 50 miles wide July 5, 2011. Arizona State University weather expert Randy Cervany talks about the history and effects of haboobs.
