HTC Touch HD and Opera Mobile 9.5

A "little" slower maybe. But the resolution is amazing on the touch HD. You can actually read the text on a website without zooming in. It has 2.5 times the resolution of the iphone. Aplle have made a great device in many ways but in some things they just seem to give up. The decent camera, the screen size/resoloution and the very basic copy and paste, are all still missing on the iphone and it's conciderable more expensive.

It resizes the width of the column if it's too small when zoomed in - thus if the column is too wide and so it would still be small when zoomed in, it will refit the text to the screen. There are a few bugs in Opera Mobile (largely fixed in the newest beta version) which cause it to not zoom right to the column rarely, but you can just pan to it and it will be the right fit.
