Tracking blast beats

Last weekend I was tracking some drums for the band Cabal. We used a great sounding room and I think the end product will sound pretty awesome. This is the first song of the session, and also the first take, I think. We didn't end up using this one on the recording, but this is the one we happened to catch on video.

Big ups to Pekka Parantainen for borrowing his sweet sounding Reference snare drum! It sounds great even on a video recorded with an iphone! Haha.
