I seem to remember that Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life", not, "Sorry, but your faith in me is misplaced, wait 600 years and then you'll find the REAL Truth". Glad I left ECUSA a long time ago, not because of it's progressive stand on moral/ social issues, but the fact that it has abandoned orthodox Christology.
