This is probably about the first Christian song I wrote. I like to call it my first Christian song I wrote, but technically it's the 2nd. I have another one called "More Than The Sun," which I recently changed the name to "More Than The World!" It's a great song and all, but I just never found interest to record me singing it yet. I wrote it probably during my Junior or Senior year in high school. :)
Anyway, back to I'll Wait For You! Here are the notes I wrote about it once I first wrote it:
"This is a song I wrote one day. One night, it just kind of came to me. The melody, lyrics, everything! I honestly believe this song was given to me by God. I knew Ive been wanting to write a song about Him coming back because I felt as if the day was getting closer. I wanted the world to know somehow that Jesus was coming back and I wanted to tell them someway, and I figured my best way was with music. Here recently, I have felt like God was calling me to write music and sing for Him. I wrote this song to see what would happen and so far, Ive felt like God was telling me, Thats what I want you to do. I feel as if I sing awful, but I enjoy doing it, just not in front of others. . . But if God wants me to, I will be obedient and try to go for it!"
And as of now (7-28-09), I have sang many of my songs in front of MANY others at my church, and they get blessed by it, and amazed by my talents of course. :P Writing music is not a very common talent where I'm from. Let alone, write and play music, as well as my art and creative writing talents. But adding on to this, I am going to be joining a Christian band pretty soon (most likely a small band for fun and small Christian gigs, not popularity... unless popularity decides to hit us in the face)! This is the time to put my voice to the test! I sing much better standing in an open area and singing into an actual mic, rather than cooped up in my house trying to coordinate head phones, web cam mics, and do it in a comfortable position... which is hard bacause some of the chords are short and hard to reach around my guitar and things... so basically, I'd like to record myself "normally," rather than "cheaply." :P Make since? Anyway, I'm moving on with this calling of mine. Now, let's see what God has in store!

PS - This is a great song for the band's name I'm going to be in. It may possibly be called "The Warning," which is a name I came up with... but who knows, we may pick another name. :) We will be warning everyone that Jesus is coming soon with our Christian songs! (Read the few verses at the end of Revelation in the bible: Jesus says, "Behold, I come quickly")
And the pictures in this video are of me and my family... couldn't think of anything else to make a "music video." I'm ugly, I know. I want contacts. B) But the 2nd to last picture is my youth from church during our bible school in 2009. :)
And one last thing, there are hymns in this song: the chorus of Until Then and an instrumental jazz version of O What A Savior (i think that's the name) The trio in Until Then is pretty cool. Even though it's all me, it sort of sounds like trio singers, but then again it kind of doesn't. :P
God bless you! Nice song!

I love it! God doesn't care how our voice sounds,as long as we lift praises to him! God Bless you !

@jojoservesamightygod HAha, yea! The sound of the voice doesn't matter to God. I can sing professionally, and not be singing from the heart, and God won't like that... but if I sing terrible but all of it comes from the heart, God listens to that. :P
I thought about re-singing this one... though God don't listen to how bad the voice sounds. :P But yea, I have improved QUIET a bit... I think I just now uploaded a video of the progression of my voice... you can watch if you want. :)
