I think it's funny that someone who follows a man who spent the last few years of his life wandering around the desert with 12 other men that he kissed(in the words of the bible) and loved everyone is so intolerant of others.
If you cut your hair, eat meat and dairy in the same dish or have kiss a man/have been kissed by a woman on her cycle then you have disobeyed the words of God and you are going to Hell.
That is from you bible, enjoy that warm vacation when you die.

A public school shouldn't purposefully influence any child's opinion on anything. Furthermore, private business workers, such as photographers, should reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone they choose not to serve- blacks, whites, gays, blues, purples.

its my RIGHT to decide to have kids or not ......so why cant gay people have that right is my marriage not legal becuse of my decisions in life? why is america SOOO scared to let this change take place?why do u hve to be in control of everything ..wars..lives...etc if u believe in god fair enough i do to an extent and do u know wht if he did have somethin to say he'd prob say how stupid it is that we took this wrld nd made it so doomed the way we did constint wars!!!

seriously think about this .........if a man kills another shud he be sentnced to death ? if ur answer is yes WHO GIVES U or anybody else the right to decide isnt that just being the same as the man in question???? so who gives you the right to take such a personal and needed right way from another humn being ?whats SO wrong with same sex marriages im straight and my friends family country totally have no problem against gays so why should you what are u so scared or threatned by ????

Hey! Thanks for being civil on this issue. If you support gay marriage, do you also support parent's rights to request that schools not try to influence their kids opinion on this? I think its the parents job to teach what to believe on gay marriage, but more and more schools are taking that role for themselves. Also, a photographer was sued for declining to shoot a lesbian commitment ceremony, in a state that doesn't even allow gay marriage or civil unions! I think EVERYONES rights should stand

thanks for the insightful response! i do have to say that i disagree with you on parents teaching kids WHAT to believe. i think it's parents' jobs to teach kids about ALL kinds of marriages, then that child can choose what to believe as they get older. living in our world today, it is inevitable that everybody will be exposed some way to gay couples. if children are raised in such a way that they are totally naive to that behavior, they will not understand it, thus they will be opposed to it.

i understand wat your talking about but, you didnt have to say african american because that is just stereotyping. there are plenty of gay black ppl. maybe not where your from but there are. so black ppl have nothing to do with this situtation. that was kind of disrepectful.

I didn't mean it in a mean or disrespectful way, and I don't really understand how it's stereotyping because the fact that African Americans were discriminated against 40-50 years ago, like gay people are being discriminated against now was more the point I was making. I feel it's more factual information not any stereotype...
