Many of our pieces have been created outside the confines of institutional training, and have no relation to schools, galleries, museums or traditional influences. These are often referred to as outsider art because they are produced by people who, for various reasons, have not been culturally indoctrinated or socially conditioned to the traditional art world.

greeetings. would you look at my 2 youtube videos.....just type in OutsidrArtst and they should both come up. i have been labelled an outsider artist by curators and gallery owners. my two slideshows are about depresssion and post-traumatic stress syndrome and the medicating of people who suffer from these conditions.
