  • What are those sticks? Btw, good lesson. After I get the finger thing right, I'll work on this one! Though I would like to know your opinion on practice pads. Are they necessary? Or can you just practice on a chair or a pillow?

  • @Salzcamino i prefer practice pads as they really get you used to rebound and how to use it.

    and they're vic firth scott johnson practice sticks.

  • hi mate, also from newcastle, im struggling to improve the speed of my parradiddles and warm ups, oh and only been drumming 2 months

    any advice on speeding them up and making them sound even, im accenting without trying too

  • @dave90mckeague Thanks, I think I'll get a practice pad as well. You know, still get the rebound and all, but you can do it while watching tv! :P
