2009 Infiniti FX. When it was first launched in 2003, the Infiniti FX rocked the luxury crossover world by combining sports-car like looks and handling with the high ride height and versatility of an SUV. Described by its designer as a Bionic Cheetah, the curvaceous FX indeed looked like a predator about to pounce, and it was the competition from Lexus and BMW that was its prey. For 2009, Infiniti has remade its revolutionary FX, keeping the familiar silhouette but dramatically altering its face. The auto maker has also made substantial improvements to the FXs suspension, interior and engine. For more new car reviews, interviews and automotive news visit http://www.kbb.com today.

  • I am a high school teacher at a private school where every rich kid drives a BMW or pimped out car. However, my 1999 Ford Explorer has 190,000 miles on it and since 2005 I saved money. I drive the liquid platinum 2009 FX35 I bought last year. This "vehicle" is for people with taste and desire to think outside the box and 300 horses lets me get the hell out the box fast and my students give me an A+ for taste, but I always wanted an infiniti FX35 and now I own one and I F------ LOVE IT!

  • i dont like that color. but i love the car.

  • The car is even prettier than the original. However, I agree the side-vents don't fit it. I have a 2004 FX35 that I got new for $42K. I has been a great car. Now, a comparable 2011 FX would cost me around $52K. Too much of a change in price. That combined with the smaller interior are turning me away from the car.

  • @AMOURA1997 To me, the front looks like a gaping, predatory fish mouth. (Not a shark though). I love it.

  • I agree the chrome side-vents don't fit in. Otherwise I think it is prettier. I have a 2004 FX35 that I got new. It has been a really nice car (except for mileage). It's is time for a new vehicle; but, the increase in price and smaller interior have driven me away. Mine was $42K to get a comparable 2011 FX I'd have to pay closer to $52K! I just cannot afford that.

  • 70K for a nissaun? lol

  • Sexy....... I meant the car.

  • The exterior is sexy. Slim and aggressive headlights, looooong hood give it an aggressive appearance. They are sexy

  • love this car so much

  • the exhaust noise it makes is priceless

  • i hate the front of this car

    the interiore is amaizing

in conclusion i find the murano nicer from the outcide ans simpler from the inside

    check it out

  • @lesmcluffalot
