Yeah, embedded is great for building a set top box or even a netbook or something that needs a light os. I use it on an old laptop for a set top box, and I use it on my netbook as a light os. But it IS NOT a replacement for the standard versions of windows 7. I use 7 ultimate on my laptop.

Yet another funny video from someone thinking they know somethign about computers, but clearly doesnt. Embedded version is for developers looking to build small footprint windows OS for devices such as tablets, TV's, media devices and whatever, ie an OS that cant be modified once its installed without reflashing the ROM. Hence its JEOS, that means Just Enough Operating System, for you noobs, meaning minimal attack surface. Also its purpose is to build the Embedded ROM image seperately!
