    Also reminds me Lahore of my youth (1950s). We had brick streets in our Mohalla. I was happy when they laid new roads and took out the bricks, it made riding bike easier. But alas, this song has stirred some sweet memories for those bricks.

    Iftikhar Haq, I also remember the brick streets of Lahore. Backyards in the houses were also made of bricks & during summer evenings they used to doused by water which had a cooling & soothing effect. Miss that life..........
