@actinoidify Colour coding in medical applications can be very helpful. The problem with most colourings in plastics and metals is that they can can leach and are not bio-compatible. The useful thing about titanium is that you can colour it by varying the thickness of it's oxide layer, rather than using dyes. :)

@MelleB90 The surgery parts are inside of skin, therefore not being able to see the colors defeats the purpose...but if it were used to make a car, or some other things, then that would be very cool, but you got some imagination :D
