you may not worship a photo graph but if i put the statue of jesus infront of you , would you be able to spit on it? Because how do you know that jesus,or mother mary looked like that or even if they existed ? did you see them with your own eyes? you only saw their statues or pictures , heard bout them and read bout them.its your belief that jesus exists and looks like that,likewise i also believe hanumaanji exists and looks like what has been portrayed in Hindu mythology.

we hindu also should pray god in formless we call him nirgun..... but to able to develop this consciouss and to not let satan advantage upon us to derive us from the path of god we need to atach us to the ritual of idol but we should not remain in this stage 4 long period we need to develop our belief in a higher level of spirituality to understand the formless energy of god.. and when we follow the path of god by following him or his order we r doing KARMA.. so we bekom a karma yogi at the end.
