Hurricane Irene visits Fawne

Our area was recently graced with the presence of Hurricane Irene, the first hurricane to make landfall in New England since Hurricane Bob in 1991.

Thankfully my friends, family, and most of their belongings are all safe and sound. TONS of trees came down in the area though, and some stretches of road around here are almost impassable, with trees and wires down all over the place.

With our power restored (after 60someodd hours with out) I present to a small video I made using footage and pictures I took from around my house during and after Irene. Please pardon the video quality, I wish it were better, but you get the point, it was raining sideways!

I lived in Florida and the whole hurricane thing freaks me out. Glad it wasn't worse that it was!!! Nice job on the video and great music.

My power just came on! It was out for over 5 days D: And it didn't even hit that hard. Just a few branches down and leaves everywhere, no damage. So creepy!
