update on the hamster. he's still alive and well, and i've dyed him purple, haha. his name is benihana, because it sounds cool.

You are extremely stupid for dying him purple. Imagine having to lick your hair constantly after you dyed it. If your hamster licks this it won't be very nice for him and the dye may infect him. Stupid girl.

you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. i use the same dye on him that i use on myself. it's semi-permanent and vegetable-based, so it contains no harmful chemicals whatsoever. i've heard of a lot of people dying their pets with it and it's harmless. get the facts before you call me "stupid". i wouldn't dye an animal unless i knew it was completely safe.

I know exactly what your saying, but its unsafe for you to use it oh hamsters, because you need to rinse the die out, and getting your hamster wet can wash off his natural oils in his fur and cause him to be very sick. I understand the thing about it being vegetable-based because my sister and i use manic panic! all the time lol.
