Wtf? What imbecile would ever be okay with letting rape victims be charged? How much money said victim has should be irrelevant if that's the reasoning behind wanting this to be law. Isn't it better to do the exams without charge, catch the criminal, and make sure the criminal can't ever do it again? McCain-Palin, the dynamic duo of morons.

So what do their taxes pay for? Isn't the police dept. paid for by our taxes; "even though you pay us taxes, you need to pay us more." *shake head*.

Would a gunshot victim not have to pay for hospital bills? it's tricky to say where we would start and end paying for people, however if paying for them was already a law, it would certainly be a nice decency to help them out...having said that, and logic aside, Palin needs to get raped and we'll see who she wants to pay for her :)

And yes, in some cases I would say that if a young person was to want to walk down a long road in the middle of noplace USA, they should take a gun with them if they want.
