Christine Breese speaks about how everyone in your life is a special Buddha delivered just for you to teach you something. "You don't have to be a Buddhist or believe in the Laughing Buddha or Siddhartha (Buddha's previous name) in order to understand this concept. Love comes in many forms. Even the drunk on the street or the person who you hate is a special Buddha angel messenger delivered just for you in order to teach you something. Use every opportunity to grow, even in the situations that don't seem to be pleasant. Even people who aren't 'enlightened' in your opinion might be just what you need to break your own patterns of judgment, lack of compassion, tolerance or other traits of an evolved being. See every person as the teacher, the Buddha, who is here to teach you something. Don't ignore any opportunity. The Buddhists and Buddhism teach that all of life is your teacher, not just those who you label as teachers. Buddha sends angel messengers in all forms."

  • Incorrect. Everyone's essential nature is Buddha, and everyone has the potential of Buddhahood. Everyone isn't Buddha. If they were, then our troops wouldn't be in Afghanistan right now. They wouldn't need to be!! :-) :-(

  • The statement isn't that everyone is ACTING like Buddha. The statement is that everyone can be used in your life as a Buddha, since life is the guru, the teacher, the Buddha, and even people acting badly are lessons to each of us and chances to practice love even if those people aren't acting right.

  • @adriftingspiral2 i jus met somone whom i told that ,after they said i was funny, i am not funny but it is she who is funny and i am only a mirror of whatever she had going on within

  • She is so cute, I luv her!

  • How is it that we may judge a person as though they are in conclusion of thier growth.? Even those challenges they may give us, are also being revieled to us; as a challenge that they face in self. It is a lesson sometimes to learn that our dealings with anothers' lessons being learned by them is a lesson to us as well. Just because we walk away from a teacher, doesn't mean we have finished the leasons.....

  • you say everyone are u mirroring that tords urself or ur saying that they r the giver and ur only the reciever...

  • most ppl are far from buddha, they are a bunch of idiots. I prefer to learn from myself..

  • so we are all cute lil buddas?

  • Well said. Our essential nature is Buddha, but Buddhahood is something to be worked towards. If we were all Buddha then there would be no wars or suffering. We would all be experiencing Nirvana.

  • You are beautiful.
