  • General Motors made dam sure that they put these guys out of business..AMC was way ahead of all of them..but the suppliers shut them off....a 304 AMC produced more torque from the factory than a 350 Chevrolet...then get up to the AMC 390 and 401...steel cranks, web reinforced blocks...good stuff.....RR

  • I just bought a 1968 AMC Rebel 550 100% original. With the 343 motor and the factory 4speed and maroon color the car is a beuty. No hot rod more of a show winning car.
