This morning, ~35 Pantropical Spotted Dolphins were herded into Taiji, Japan's killing cove. Two juveniles were taken amidst the slaughter and sold to Taiji Whale Museum, an establishment that exhibits dozens of cetaceans bought from the unsustainable dolphin slaughter of dolphins in Taiji- a place where you can eat dolphin meat whilst watching dolphins performing tricks...
This is a legal practice within Japan- up to 23,000 dolphins and small whales are killed across the country each year...
Marine conservation is one of the most important factors in keeping this world 'alive'... Please do what you can to spread the word about marine issues that occur all over the world. Get involved in local marine conservation efforts and create awareness amongst your local community.
