@dfargraygththsrthsth This a battle gun sight as well as a close quarters hunting sight. The advantage is that you don't need to have your head perfectly lined up with the scope and nor does the red dot have to be centered in the optic to make an accurate shot. This gives the shooter a great advantage when confronting enemies of fleeing game animals.
