I was stopped at some road construction last week, and the flag man looked at my Marine Corps Veteran plates, and started shaking his head. I couldn't understand at first, until I realized he was staring at my plates. He proceeded to give me the stink eye as I passed. I wasn't angry, I was hurt ! I was a Marine during a time when it was very un-popular to serve. I thought this kind of crap was a thing of the past, but apparently not. FYI he worked for the Cleveland electric illuminating Co.

No comments necessary. I saw her perform this song live in Norfolk just after it came out. It gave me goosebumps and yes I could not keep it dry. As a former Marine I could relate to the song so well. Thanks Chely.
